Hans Van Crombrugge is doctor in pedagogical sciences.
He is senior lecturer in the pedagogical courses in the bachelor Family Studies.
His research and publications focus on the role of philosophies of life on family relationships.
On that subject he published the article ‘Parenting with the Quran’ in our own publication ‘Philosophies of life in families', about Islamic views on parenting.
He also contributed to the seminar and publication ‘Fathers, sons and Islam: migrating between Oedipus & Abraham’.
He coordinates the student project about islamic parenting ideals, and is working on a new publication on what Muslim pedagogues have to say about this subject.
